SAP Business Warehouse / Business Intelligence Application Analyst (m/f)

The position is placed in Glinde, Germany and you will be positioned in our IS Department. The job demands your possibility of working flexible hours and will require some travel activities.

Key responsibilities

  • SAP BW / BI application analyst: development, support and optimization of the BI systems in cooperation with the business departments, the internal IS team and external consultants.
  • Development of solutions with the SAP tools ABAP Workbench, BI Workbench, BEx Query Designer, Web Application Designer and the BusinessObjects BI tools.
  • Maintenance (optimization and performance tuning) of our SAP BI/BW system landscape.
  • Analyzing, validation and development of change requests for the reporting applications.
  • Contact for the business units, external consultants and offshore developer.
  • Project work in BW developments projects and global IT projects.

Experience and Skills

  • At least 2 years experience in the SAP BW / BI environment, ideally additional knowledge in SAP ECC financial and controlling modules
  • Knowledge in SAP development tools ABAP, Web Application Designer and BEx Query De-signer as well as the SAP Portal, ideally knowledge in SAP Business Objects Tools and/ or ABAP Objects
  • Experiences in SAP BW / BI implementation projects
  • University education to degree level in IT / Economics or equal qualification
  • Fluent English, spoken and written. Other languages are appreciated
  • Good team working-, support and communication skills, also be customer and solution oriented
  • Process oriented, analytical way of thinking
  • Proactive
  • Willing to travel (international)
